# Separation axioms

The **separation axioms**[^Trennungsaxiome] are a series of optional [[Topological property|properties]] for topological spaces,
ordered by [[Strong and weak conditions|strength]].

- $\mathrm{T}_{1}$ ::: [[Fréchet space]]
- $\mathrm{T}_{2}$ ::: [[Hausdorff space]]
- $\mathrm{T}_{4}$ ::: [[Normal space]] (and Hausdorff)
